data scientist @ hotellistat. i build cool ai stuff.
My name is Francisco.
I lead the AI team at Hotellistat, where we price hundreds of hotels every day.
On the side I build products: a receptionist that answers your calls, a tool that quotes in seconds, a CRM that stays out of the way.
I'm self-taught. I'm also finishing a B.Sc. in data science at IU.
I've played basketball my whole life. That's where the court comes from.
Open to freelance AI and product work.
A system that answers your restaurant's calls, takes bookings and never misses a client.
An AI receptionist for restaurants. It picks up the phone in European Portuguese, registers the reservation with name, people, day and time, and writes it straight into the booking system. No card, no lock-in.
A quote tool that reads your design and gives you a price in seconds, no back and forth.
Upload a mockup of what you want printed, pick a quantity, and get an estimated price on the spot. The image is analysed by a model, the number is confirmed by the team on WhatsApp. Four steps, no forms to fill twice.
A calm, simple site for an online therapy practice, with booking built in.
A landing page for a psychoanalytically informed therapist working by secure video. The brief was quiet and clear: say what the work is, make the first session easy to book, keep it confidential.
A private CRM for an events studio: clients, events and follow-ups in one calm place.
Mode Studio plans and produces events. They needed one place for leads, clients, events and the follow-ups in between, without the weight of a generic CRM. It is private, so there is nothing to click here.
Private. Demo on request.
Revenue management for 300+ hotels. I lead the AI team behind the pricing.
Three years building end-to-end AI for hotels: dynamic pricing, demand forecasts, group quotations and agentic systems, from research to production. Full ML-ops cycle on AWS with Kubernetes and Docker.
AI for precision agriculture in Madeira. Computer vision on animals, movement clustered in real time.
Several R&D projects in precision agriculture. I used physics and data science to cluster cow movement in real time, built three computer vision systems to identify frogs, eggs and larvae in pictures and video, and fed the insights to a biology research team.
An app that finds you places to work from. I run the franchise in Portugal and Spain.
Settl finds laptop-friendly hotels, cafés and coworking spaces, with perks when you get there. I am building the Portugal and Spain side of it.
I've played for these clubs, in this order.
